Crimson Sky Vizslas started as a thought and a dream ten years ago when we purchased our first Vizsla - her name is Madison and she is our foundation bitch.

Madison was originally bought first for a pet and secondly as a personal hunting dog for Mark. It didn't stop there! Through Madi, we were introduced into many different facets of the Vizsla world - hunt tests, field trials, conformation, agility and puppies. We then decided that one was not enough, typical among Vizsla owners, and we now have 5 vizslas and 2 wonderful children in our home.

All of our dogs hunt hard all day and come home to be our pets. It is very common for our whole family to watch TV or play in the yard together. Our dogs and our kids are best friends.

We are very active with our dogs. We hunt, field trial, hunt test and show our dogs in the conformation ring. When we are not competing with our dogs, they are hanging in the house with us. Competitions with our dogs are a family affair.

We are members of the Vizsla Club of America (VCA), the Vizsla Club of Illinois (VCOI), the Central Wisconsin Vizsla Club (CWVC) and the Lake Superior Vizsla Club (LSVC). Mark is on the board for the VCOI and Pam has served on the board in the past. Pam coordinated the Rescue program for the CWVC for over 3 years. Mark has chaired several events for the VCOI and currently runs the Hunt Test training days and is a director for the LSVC, he is also an AKC Hunt Test and Field Trial judge. Pam also owns an all breed dog and cat grooming shop, "Paws-Abilities".

We help mentor new members of the clubs and have our own puppy picnic for all of our puppy buyers each year.

Our lovely home is located on several acres where we train our dogs frequently. We also have the ability to keep our horses Hunter and Juez on our property as well. We keep homing pigeons and a quail pen year round so that our dogs always have something to train with. You will very often find Mark out in the field helping other Vizsla owners train their dogs.
